Citizens of the EU, EEA and Switzerland can purchase properties in Poland on the same terms as Polish citizens, without any formal approval. For other countries, there  is slightly more paperwork required. In general any foreign investor can purchase an apartment in Poland. There are more requirements for land purchases.
